The Mill Duty Deepfield Aluminum Electromagnet (MDA) is constructed with a heavy-duty design to withstand exceptionally harsh and abrasive operating environments. Its weight is balanced by lightweight aluminum windings that allow for flexible use and versatility not found in other types of electromagnets. The MDA is ideal for handling scrap, slabs, and billets. It can be used singly or rigged together with additional magnets on a spreader beam.
